We can provide cares to patients with diseases in an advanced stage, with a limited life expectancy. Treatments are aimed at relieving pain and bothersome symptoms, as well as providing support for the patient and their families.
These cares are aimed at preventing the worsening of the condition, as well as counteracting side effects of diseases with symptoms and limitations that do not pose a risk of near death (but have no cure).
The psychosocial care teams are made up of a psychologist, a social worker and our team of volunteers. Psychological and spiritual support is essential in the palliative care process.
